Crafted Cir. 1985
249 US-206 | Stanhope, NJ
Around 1985, Rudolf Buenz was commissioned to create hunting-inspired stained glass windows for Black Forest Inn restaurant, a German beer hall serving traditional foods. These windows feature colorful scroll-work, detailed borders, game animals, landscapes, and German motifs. In addition to traditional stained glass windows, the restaurant also has back-lit panels above the bar and a large stained glass panel in the ceiling of the main dining room. These windows have remained on display at the Black Forest Inn restaurant in Stanhope, New Jersey since their installation and continue to be a delightful part of the restaurant’s history and ambiance to this day.
